Candidates for Palmer Lake mayor and Board of Trustees are scheduled to appear at a public forum at the EcoSpa Annex on Highway 105. The published program runs 4 to 7 p.m.: welcome and introductions, three-minute candidate statements, a round of standard questions put to every candidate, citizen questions for individual candidates, and a meet-and-greet.
Listed for mayor: Kent Hutson and Atis Jurka. Listed for trustee, in ballot order: William Bass, Beth Harris, Tony Beltran, Dennis Stern, Rebecca “Becky” Albright, Karla Kerstner, Roger Moseley, Kathy Keeley, John Marble and Eric Alan Burton.
The forum is organized by Our Town Our Tomorrow, a community group. It is not a Town of Palmer Lake function and does not appear on the town calendar. Organizers say all candidates are being invited; attendance by any individual candidate is not confirmed, and the closing meet-and-greet is listed as to be determined.
