The Western Museum of Mining and Industry’s Miners’ Pumpkin Patch runs every Saturday in October from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (it closes at 2 p.m. on Oct. 31): hayrides, pumpkin picking, lawn games, gold panning, machinery demonstrations and food trucks. Tickets are sold online by date and at the door; pumpkins and museum admission cost extra. Service dogs only. Info: 719-488-0880.
