Oktoberfest Above the Clouds
The street festival runs three downtown blocks, from Memorial Park down Henrietta Avenue to the Ute Pass Cultural Center. The organisers also list a week of side events around it between September 17 and 20 — bingo, a golf tournament, a 5K and 10K, and a Sunday brunch — which are ticketed separately. Entry to the festival itself is free; beer and merchandise are sold.
Castle Rock Oktoberfest
No ticket is required for entry. The organisers list more than twenty breweries, live German music, stein hoisting, food trucks, free bounce houses, a rock wall and inflatable games, and a DJ from 7 to 9 p.m. Downtown Castle Rock names the venue only as Wilcox Square and publishes no street address for it, so the pin sits on the block of North Wilcox Street beside Festival Park rather than on a building.
