Nine hours, eight bands, one lawn. Monu-Palooza turns ten on Sunday, Sept. 6, at Limbach Park — music from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., gate at 9:30, fifteen dollars if you plan ahead.
MONUMENT — The stated goal, in the promoter’s own words, is to “crank the fun-factor to 11.” Monu-Palooza X goes about it the simple way: one stage on the grass at Limbach Park, eight bands, and nine hours to get through them.
Music starts at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 6, and runs until WireWood Station closes the show out at 8. The gate opens at 9:30, which is when the people who care about their spot will be there.
Charlie Searle books the festival and puts his own band, Ashtonz, on at 5:40. The closing hour he gives away.
