North Tree Wants 467 Homes. Its Own Water Covers 62.
A developer wants Calhan to annex 96 acres for 467 homes, though under the town’s new water rule the land’s own supply covers about 62. If Calhan says no, the developer can go to El Paso County, as three Tri-Lakes projects did after their annexations failed; the commissioners approved all three.
