The Walden Metropolitan Districts Nos. 1 and 2 will meet at 660 Southpointe Court, Suite 210, in southwest Colorado Springs, the office of the districts’ attorney, Peter Susemihl. The meeting is held under section 32-1-903(6)(a) of the Colorado statutes, which requires every special district to hold one annual meeting for its residents and property owners.

The districts have posted two notices for that morning: an annual board meeting and a regular board meeting, both at 10 a.m. and both at the same address. The agenda the districts published for the regular meeting lists a public hearing on the 2027 budget, a public hearing on a 2026 budget amendment “if needed,” a discussion of 2027 meeting dates and a period for public comment. The same Teams link, meeting number and passcode are published for both.

The notice the districts mailed on September 30 states the terms plainly: “The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the items listed below. No official action shall be taken at the meeting. The meeting is open to the public.”

On the agenda, per the mailed notice: a presentation on the status of public infrastructure projects, the status of outstanding debt, and a review of unaudited financial statements for the current calendar year. A second item is set aside for residents to “ask questions or engage with the Board.”

Who sits on the boards

The districts publish their own rosters. District No. 1 lists two directors; District No. 2 lists three. A Title 32 district board seats five, so both have vacancies, and no email address is listed for any director.

Who manages the districts

WISDOM Management, a Colorado Springs firm that administers special districts, took over as district manager on August 1, 2026. The district manager is Adam Noel.

The districts now have two websites. The one WISDOM Management put up in July carries the service plans, district boundary maps, budgets, audit exemptions and election notices. A second, at waldenmd.colorado.gov, runs on the state’s web platform for local governments and carries the meeting notices, the board rosters and a meeting calendar. Both list the same contacts.

Getting there

The districts give the address as 660 Southpointe Court, Suite 210. The map below is pinned to that street address.

Regular board meetings are held on the first Monday of each month at 10 a.m. at the same address, and the districts’ filing with El Paso County adds that meetings “are subject to change and may be cancelled if there is no business to transact.” Dates are posted on the districts’ calendar.

Updated October 30, 2026. The districts published a Microsoft Teams link, meeting number, passcode and telephone dial-in for the November 2 meeting after this article first ran; they have been added above. The article now also notes that the districts have posted both an annual board meeting and a regular board meeting for that morning, and that a second district website has appeared on the state’s web platform.

Methodology

The meeting details and the agenda come from the notice the districts mailed on September 30; the board rosters, the district manager’s contact details and the regular meeting schedule come from the districts’ own website, read in full on October 27. The Teams link, meeting number, passcode and telephone dial-in were taken from the districts’ own published notices and meeting calendar on October 30, not retyped from a screenshot, and the online link was confirmed to match on both. The map is pinned to the street address the districts give for the meeting.
