Food trucks are easy to love and hard to find. Their schedules live in Facebook groups, brewery calendars, HOA newsletters and town lineups — each accurate, none complete. The Monument Independent’s new food truck tracker gathers them onto one page, covering Monument, Palmer Lake, Woodmoor and Gleneagle, and refreshes every day.
The Tri-Lakes does not lack food trucks. On a given week this summer, wood-fired pizza, birria tacos, Bosnian ćevapi, German pretzels and wild-caught Alaskan cod are all being served within a few miles of downtown Monument. What the area has lacked is a single answer to the only question that matters: where are they today?
The tracker answers it with a schedule grouped by day. Each entry lists the truck, its cuisine, the hours, the venue with a map link, and — where they exist — the truck’s website and menu. Readers can filter by area. At launch the page lists roughly forty upcoming stops, drawn from the Town of Monument’s Concerts in the Park lineup at Limbach Park, the food-truck calendar at Goat Patch Brewing’s Monument taproom, Food Truck Fridays at Sanctuary Pointe Park, and On The Hook’s fish-and-chips days at 3 Hundred Days Distilling, among others.
The page is maintained the way the Independent maintains its community calendar: sources are checked daily, every entry carries its origin, and when a venue quietly drops a truck from its lineup, the listing comes down rather than lingering. Where a venue’s schedule and a truck’s own posts disagree, the venue wins until the truck says otherwise. Venues mark their lineups “subject to change,” and they mean it; the tracker repeats the warning.
Truck owners get a standing invitation. Any operator can add dates free; an editor reviews each submission before it appears, usually the same day. Approved trucks are added to the directory at the bottom of the page, and their future Tri-Lakes dates are tracked from then on without further paperwork.
A directory of the area’s regulars — from Grilled Cheese, Yo! to La Gran Tenochtitlan to O’Malley’s of Palmer Lake — sits below the schedule, with menus and contacts. The trucks will keep moving around. Finding them no longer requires doing the same.

Schedule entries are compiled daily from the Town of Monument Concerts in the Park lineup, the Goat Patch Brewing Monument food-truck calendar, the Sanctuary Pointe HOA events pages, the 3 Hundred Days Distilling events calendar, the Grilled Cheese, Yo! public calendar, trucks’ public Facebook pages, community groups and vendor submissions, which are reviewed by an editor before publication.
